Miss Linda my dance teacher from the age of eight what age of eight and then again at the age of 40 to 43. I picked up the book to read Because Miss Linda what is my dance teacher and a respected mother figure in my life for a very long time so I wanted to read what she had written about not knowing that we had lived such similar lives. I had decided about 20 years ago to write my story but never had the courage to do so. After reading her story, I am more excited than ever 2 strip down to the naked truth and help another human being through my trials and tribulations thru my life experiences. I am attending the very first writers conference in Gulf Shores Alabama this Monday and I've been invited to spend some time with my cherished dance teacher in her home.This book made me laugh, it made me cry, it made me think and it made me relish the real relationships in my life.
The one thing that I know for sure is that I am saved going to Miss Linda's story. All my love ,Roberta sikkelee

‘The Relationship Dance’ offers a fascinating read - providing insight into the life of a woman, guided by faith; and a look into the lives of her friends, who have been affected in different ways by their own faith.
Just finished this book, it was a page turner. I think she did a marvelous job learning, seeking and telling about her journey for the life she's lived and the life she currently leads. I hope everyone who picks it up enjoys it as much as I did. Great job!
I loved the Relationship Dance by Linda Center. It is an easy read--I read the whole book in one sitting. In the first half of the book Linda relays her personal journey. It is a story that many will be able to relate to. It was a reminder that those of us who have travelled a circuitous path to Jesus can still find Him no matter our route. But to me, the best part of the book was the second half, because Linda offers an easy non-threatening way to talk about God with my friends. After reading the book, I was reminded not to be afraid to bring up God in a conversation and I was challenged to ask a simple question and leave it at that, if need be.
Linda Center has several passions. One of them is a deep love for our Father. Her book begins with some of the more difficult trials and challenges that brought her to her knees, looking for the Father she had known earlier in life. The One who would never break a promise, never break her heart, but would break the chains that threatened to take her love for life, family and friends. Linda writes honestly, among other feelings, of self-doubt and the pain of never feeling worthy of being loved. I found myself saying, "I've been there! I've dragged that chain!" Part 1 reminded me, that no matter how far we drift, He will always be there. There will always be hard times but they're buffered by One that will never turn away from His children.
Part 2 intrigued me because I know Linda to be a naturally curious person. About so many things! But especially people. Not only those in her personal life but all that pass through it. Wanting to know more about them, Linda shares with us their feelings not only on God, the Son of God, and the Hereafter but their childhood and what shaped their beliefs. My favorite, and the one that brought me to tears, was when she interviewed her mother. Kudos, Linda! Can't wait to see what you do next!
Finished to read this book. Can't stop reading until I finished it. It took me a while because I don't have a lot of time to read, but today I accomplished my goal. I feel like I know Linda forever and our relationship just start few years ago. Very well written, keep you interested, curious and motivated to know how the stories are going to end. Part I was very revealing about her life and gave me a different vision of the Linda that I know. I can say that I admire her more and respect her more than before. Part II was very interesting to see that she can accept other views, believes, postures and thoughts even if not all the people that she interviewed agree with hers. Easy to read. I hope that when you get rich and famous you don't forget me. Can't believe we are friends. Well done! Run and buy a copy, you will not regret it.
